I [HEART] GAVIN DEGRAW

Amongst an assortment of magnets on our refrigerator is one reading, I [HEART] GAVIN DEGRAW.

And the truth of the matter is I really do. The guy kicks ass. I’ve probably listened to his “Chariot” album more than any other CD I’ve ever owned and the fact that it still works after umpteen times of being played is unbelievable to me.

Anyway, the radio station had him in for a private show and I wanted to share a video and some pictures from the event … plus brag about how cool it was!

I know not everyone is as big a fan as I am, so this might not be exciting to anyone else. But I freakin’ love the guy’s music, so it was pretty gripping for me.

Below is video of him performing, “I’m In Love With A Girl” and some pictures we snapped on the way out. He also did “Cheated On Me”, both songs from his most recent LP.

After the show I went into the office (Gene Juarez Home) kind of bummed that I had to work and didn’t have tickets for his concert later that evening. Of course I was happy and thankful I got to see the more intimate performance but now I was hungry for the full meal deal!

To my excitement my KISS coworker/high school homie, Tasha called with an extra pair of tickets to the show. After closing, Dawn and I raced down to The ShowBox and were able to catch a majority of his performance.

It was so much fun!
